I cut back on caffeine intake 2 weeks ago and it’s changed my life.
Went from 5 cups/day to just one in the morning, and I’m lucky I did because those savings go towards my engine-out needs

Its okay my Miata needs a whole new engine and is too rusty to repair so Im buying another one. Bigger problem for the race car life! It feels nice to be looking at another potential miata though on the same day I planned on doing a track day. At least I am making some progress to getting back on track! I am thinking I will need to buy more coilovers though since mine are probably not worth salvaging. Everything else though will be bolt off and bolt on! Should be fun to build another race car =)

I gotta re-learn FWD handling within 24 hrs; MR2 sure won’t be ready in time

Your kinja handle indicates that this shouldn’t have happened to me

Ooo I will definitely give it a look. Although I dont think I want to go forced induction Miata just because of the reliability concerns. I get my turbo fun with the Subaru. I dont want a Miata that is less reliable than the subaru lol.

This was built by a Miata specialist, who’s been offering advice on the forums for years and years. https://www.miataturbo.net/cars-sale-trade-6/1994-turbo-miata-97688/
LFX engine swap5should be more reliable than any stock Miata engine... https://www.miataturbo.net/cars-sale-trade-6/2002-lfx-f-s-98314/
Money isn’t an object right..? Trackspeed engineering has basically the only turbo kit that compares with stock for reliability. And miles better than the competition in literally every other metric. I still cry about returning my kit.... https://www.miataturbo.net/cars-sale-trade-6/2002-mazda-miata-acamas-built-motor-efr6758-e85-xida-ace-bmw-6sp-97997/

Can very much relate. I bought an old Range Rover as a trail beater but I always get nervous going to remote places in it so most trail duty ends up going to my daily driver Tacoma. I do love driving it around to work and when I’m running errands though! And after I’ve tracked down and fixed a large number of concerning areas maybe I’ll actually use it for trails(for the record I have used it on the trails a couple times, I’m not a total wimp) !

It's a good thing these cost more than I want to spend. That lfx swap NB was something I was drooling over until I saw the $21k and 1500 hours of work put into it. Holy shit haha.

I was confused when I saw the picture of the car. I thought it was like a “before the mods” pic. Idk how I feel though, I kind of really like the ostentatiously modded purpose built Miatas. High horsepower Miatas belong having a giant wing on it and hood vents!
